Genuinely, questions are useful. A lot of what’s on this site exists because someone asked something we hadn’t thought to cover. If you’re wondering it, other people are too.

We can’t give medical advice. If something hurts in a way that worries you, or won’t stop, that’s a conversation for a doctor. We’d rather tell you that than guess.
Your question stays yours. If we end up covering something you asked about, we’ll write the answer, not your message. Nothing identifiable gets published.
